RC always seeks the ways to show the individuality of the space we design. We believe that interior has its soul and character and it is absolutely unique. one of the owner of the house was raised in the artistic family in England and, though, not being an artist herself has a great taste to it. Her collection of art definitely stands out and it is actually what inspired RC to create such a colorful interior. Having a full time job of a mom leaves no time at all and by the end of day we might be exhausted. So, we thought, why don't we create something warm and relaxing that can bring the family and friends together. We called it Ladies Chatting Lounge. Sounds appealing? Yes, it is so comfy to relax there having some cocktails or tea with the girlfriends.It is a perfect gathering place before a dinner is served or for 5 o'clock tea.
As we knew, the owners of the house, spent some time in Hong Kong, and they keep this dear for them oriental pieces of furniture, that we incorporated in the interior and brought it all together with the bright colors of scarlet and mango and soothing green colors and sea foam.

Why an “organic mattress”?

The RC Green Home organic mattress offers the following unique features:

1) made from 100% natural certified coconut coir fiber
2) coconut fibers are bedbug, flea and tick resistant
3) each fiber strand is coated with multiple layers of organic rubber resin
4) only the coconut coir fibers are used - Coir fibers are found between the hard, internal shell and the outer coat of the coconut. The individual fiber cells are narrow and hollow, with thick walls made of cellulose.
5) coir fibers are water resistant, will not crush or rot and will remain intact for much longer than materials used in conventional mattresses
6) far infrared coir fibers - all coir fibers are liberally infused with lead-free superfine particles made from natural ceramics and minerals. RC GREEN has been proposed to design a boutique for a french clothes line LOVENCI. RC GREEN has created a stylish space in grey colors with some hints of kiwi. Kiwi was picked as the accent color for some upholstered furniture and some ornaments.
The project was done from scratch starting with mutual sketches and drawing. RC GREEN has a reliable and highly professional team of contractors that implemented design ideas of RC along with the other team of workers who built all the custom furniture for this project.
For the design idea RC was inspired by the french style and way of life, fancy, sophisticated but simple with a hint of elegance. We created the space that will lead customers through the passion of french style with the aesthetic look that reflects the idea of the cloth line LOVENCI. Shiny furniture with clean lines. Mirrors that open up the space. Layout of floors that create a visual look of cat walk and accentuates the shape of the furniture. The fitting room was hinted with Red colors that reminded us France in its early 1900s with talented artists and theater shows.

It is only the beginning of the the year, yet RC GREEN has started with some successful projects. RC Green has partnered with some brokers who want to raise the value of the houses. RC green was proposed to redesign some houses in Malibu, Hollywood hills and PVE.
"There are certain prons and cons working under such kind of projects" says rc green design team. "We don't know the future buyers, their likes and dislikes. The look we create has to be hip and sleek, but we also need to make sure that we leave it open for the future owners. They would certainly love to make it look like they are and reflect their way of life."
RC has just finished the kitchen project in one of the Malibu houses and is proud to present it.

This new year RC GREEN is launching its new project "BEFORE AND AFTER GREEN".
This project reveals the secret of making your living sustainable. Everything that rc touches turns into green and natural. We know how hard it is sometimes to change your life style, but we are here to help you.
Why to keep the toxic carpet and breath in chemicals? RC prefers reclaimed oak treated with water based finishes only. As for walls, we clean it and paint with no VOC paint. Finaly the furniture, in this project we have decided not to throw it away. RC hates the fact that it goes to the landfills. We came up with the solution of reupholstering the sofas with natural linnen and exchanging the insert with cotton and wool. RC manifests eco friendly and healthy living and wants to encourage everyone to keep following it.

The new project of RC GREEN is a beautiful house on the beach. RC GREEN reclaims it and turn it into a healthy living.
The wood that we hand picked is coming from an old barn in Ohio. There is something about this that makes it so special. You are walking with your bear foot on the wood with a hundred year old history. There is multiple places where the wood is coming from, yet rc green is picking the location. We chose the oak beams from Ohio because it is the owners birthplace. We thought it would be extremely exciting to bring the piece of home from Ohio to California.
We designed the floor out of 5" and 3" boards. This random look brings in the warm atmosphere. On the other hand we decided to cool this look down with the variation of gray hues. We found this a perfect combination of warm and cold, conventional and not ordinary, oldie and brand new.
RC GREEN is proud to announce that reclaimed floors are available in different types like douglas fir, oak, cherry, pine, mahogany. Also different sizes of boards are available. We are able to choose the level of roughness, old look and cleanness. We have our own division of professional installers. Here we go! Last Sunday afternoon, the World Fest 2010 on the Lake Balboa! Great spot to meet green companies and green consumers. Hundreds of tents advertising their green services or products. The New Refining Division of RC GREEN is practically breath a new life in the old upgrading and improving it. Robert Craymer of RC GREEN uses reclaimed wood for building his new designs. Recently he came up with a new design - The Argentina Dining Room Table. Recalling the medieval time of castles and knights the dining set is modern and brand new. This dining table and chairs are made out of reclaimed solid wood pieces and finished with a couple of wax coats only. Robert Cryamer considers wax a great choice for wood finishing.
What RC GREEN is careful about is the quality of the treating materials. Robert preserves the nature of the wood and finishes it only with natural oils or wax. There is a Big No to chemical sealers and lacquers. Those techniques kill the nature of the wood and stops it from breathing, what is more they evaporate unhealthy particles in the air.

Seminal Designer Robert Craymer has out done himself. The Reclaimed Suite will be the first of its kind lounge completely designed using all recycled and reclaimed material.

Robert Craymer is creating a Reclaimed Oscar Suite. Designing the first ever green suit and creating a green lounge for major Hollywood events has lead Robert Craymer to out due himself. A reclaimed suite. What is a reclaimed suite? Robert Craymer explains that all the woods, all the materials used will be reused and reclaimed. This will be a first in the green community. Wow, what a concept! "Yes, you can take old furniture, knock it down and reconstruct it into a beautiful design,"says Robert. His passion is overwhelming, when he talks about the design of this beautiful suite, then he pauses, gently looks and talks about his family a moment with the same passion and love. You can see where this man gets his passion from. "A gift is given to you from god," Craymer says, "but hard work you must find deep inside yourself." Robert Craymer considers that re-upholstery is one of the concepts of living green. What is more others are just passionate to go to the flee markets and pick some curious pieces of furniture. As a new single father we have not fully realized, where our lives have taking us. Our homes usually were designed by our wives. Now we are single, we need to start thinking about our own living space. What can we do with color, layout and furniture. It's going to be our home, our domain, ours and our kids' security. What I have found from my many years of designing is that it's totally different to create a space for a single father, who is lost and confused. Sometimes a man just wants his new space to feel like his old space. Sometimes he wants nothing like it was before. If it was white, they want blue. If it was modern, they want classic. After your life has changed utterly, you might want to take your time to decide what you want. I know this, as I have lived with a few chairs, some kind of a sofa and a bed for a year. I didn't want to do anything until I came up with a design. I thought of making it a 50s look or making it look like my grand mother's house, or a clean, very sexy, rich look. I even bought dishes with roosters on them. I am a designer for a career, but like so many other recently single men it's hard to decide what your living space should be like. As a single man you want your home representing strength, success and integrity. It should feel comfortable and cozy, and also represent cleanliness and simplicity. The beauty of simplicity is just that simple.
We have been through so much, as men we just want to come home and be able to relax and rebuild our dreams, our lives with strength. I find myself talking in depth with single men, before I start designing a green environment for them. I would like to create a healthy designed home that is simple, clean and holds a sustainable value. This is why I created the beauty of simplicity - a series on designing for single fathers. When you introduce friends to your home, you want the front door to open and your place to represent who you are. Your entry starts the tour showing you have arrived, your living room is tastefully organic and clean with simple lines. The colors are subtle. The environment is inviting and warm, representing a strong man. The tour continues in a dining area that I personally enjoy designing. I prefer a feel that invites soft conversation and intimacy. Now we are getting a feeling of a home. A bedroom is my personal favorite, as I like to say. A man's bedroom tells who you truly are. Robert Craymer is proud to present his new design - The Aspen Dining Set. It is made out of the reclaimed wood, which is a hundred year old. Every peace of board was chosen carefully and put together to achieve the perfect result. The surface is smooth and in satin finish. The grain, some nuts and nails create a unique pattern of the table top, which looks absolutely gorgeous. The slim base supports 46 x 72 top. They will hold its annual Oscar Gift Suite this year at The Historic Roosevelt Hotel which is directly across the street from the Kodak Theater. This year’s suite boasts an “eco-friendly” theme, with several products to promote environmentally conscious living.

Last year the event raised an enormous amount for Global Green's many worthy initiatives. ROBERT CRAYMER designed the "green" lounge for LEXUS HYBRID at the EMA AWARDS on Wilshire. Lexus Hybrid is one of the biggest sponsors for the EMA's and what greater design is provided than by Robert Craymer? :)

Everyone seemed to have an amazing time with EMA Board Member DJ AM spinning at the first annual EMA E! Golden Green Party, ditching his gas-guzzling car for a new Lexus hybrid. TreePeople planted a tree for every party attendee including: Pink, JC Chavez, Lance Bass, Will Ferrel, Jon Heder, and Sacha Baron Cohen.

RC just finished an interview with Nate Berkus on " The Nate Berkus Show" (Oprah's personal and lead designer for the Oprah show) on XM Satellite Radio at ABC Studios in Burbank.
XM is America’s number one satellite radio company with more than 7 million subscribers. “The Nate Berkus Show” brings Nate’s secrets of great style to XM listeners and it airs Fridays at 4 AM, 10 AM, 4 PM, 10 PM EST and also at various times over the weekend, on Oprah and Friends, XM 156. Oprah and Friends reaches about 5 million listeners.

Nate and RC discussed about the world going green, and how to implement that rapidly moving idea. Do YOU want to be part of RC Green's leaf on a tree? RC will definitely be in touch with Oprah and design her studio "green" to show to the world how easy being sustainable and organic can be.

--> We believe this will turn into a HUGE global TREE with all the growing green companies becoming passionately involved and changing the world! What a pretty tree...

HOW?!
--> Robert will be putting your green product on the front of his websites, taking your products to major events such as Oscars, Sundance, Golden Globes, Cannes, etc.
--> Robert will show and talk about your products at the many panels he speaks at, his appearance on TV shows, etc.
--> The company will represent one leaf on the RC Green tree. Tree will grow and have many leaves until it is ONE GLOBAL GREEN Tree. This is the RC Green e-conscious tree which is be a vessel between you (the product) and the world (the consumers)

Robert Craymer is in the process of dealing with a major network TV Show. Robert, being the Ultimate Sustainable Green Guy, will travel and educate people/young companies who want to go green, those who are in the process of being green, and the consumers who want to know if they are "truly" buying green. It is the Passion and Profitability of Going Green for the young entrepreneurs who want passion being green while making a profit, and for the consumers who will truly know what they are buying is 100% green.

This is one of the few steps Robert is taking to represent Al Gore #7 on Al Gore's SEVEN pledges. We are very excited!

Live earth...

So many people have been asking about Robert Craymer about his participation in LIVE EARTH in July 2007. After many requests, we (the RC Green Team...whoop!) felt it was necessary to talk about it to the public and finally show some images of the beautiful 100% sustainable suites.

Robert was exclusively invited by AL GORE to design and furnish the suites with all his sustainable and organic furniture for LIVE EARTH. Robert designed the VIP Suites for AL GORE, TIPPER GORE, THE POLICE, THE SMASHING PUMPKINS, BON JOVI, ROGER WATERS, LUDACRIS, KANYE WEST, JOHN MAYER...just a name a few for the concert in NYC on 07.07.07. Robert wanted to specifically give each room its own unique feel and footprint ….from Al Gore’s sophisticated feel…to Bon Jovi’s elegance design…to Roger Water’s clean and relaxed atmosphere. Robert wanted to capture each individual’s personality to create the perfect setting. The response to his design was tremendously successful and positive.

The Beginning of my Blog

As I attend more events and share my story with others, I have noticed I have been a part of a journey much greater than myself. I have been blessed with the ability to reinvent my life and career in the direction to help, and to add positive impacts in the world. In doing so, I have been blessed with a beautiful wife, a wonderful son, and a growing number of people who care about our world and how we live.

I have heard and seen the tears of many individuals who care so much about their personal beliefs and passion; from a musician singing a song of help to a poet reciting words of hope. Making a difference is a personal journey, and believe me when I say this: It is a journey that will bring a smile to your soul and warmth to your life.

The other day I started a t shirt line for kids. The front of the shirt says “I make a difference”. I told my little boy that he can make a difference. He did not understand it at first, and then I noticed him being so kind to our pet dog Daisy. I told him he was making a difference and now he understands.

I met a man who believes we should all plant a seed. The most beautiful trees ever planted by man began with a single seed, mostly because of personal, heart felt beliefs. That urge in our hearts comes from people of all race, color, and direction in life. That belief has turned the seeds into a global forest. Within these many leaves that have fallen, a single seed has grown into a tree of consciousness, and that is the RC green tree. All the branches connecting the leaves to the fruits have one connecting point and belief: The Bettering of a global tomorrow.

Small actions and steps enrich the soil, enabling the root to be strong and solid…producing healthier leaves, which will then grow larger and more dynamic until it is one global conscious tree. This is the direction the human race must head.

So as I start my first blog, I have decided it is not about how green this or how green that something is. It is about us, our daily lives, and the people we meet. It is about the story. This is what I want to hear, and this is what I am going to give to you in return. I will tell you about my daily meetings with the helpful, the caring, the events with the courageous and the famous. In return, tell me about your daily quest in bettering yourselves. We all make a difference.

All stories are welcome, so please let’s all enjoy this and see where this can go.
